When the airbag light comes on
The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS), also know as air bag system, is designed to operate when vehicle strikes a rigid or heavy object with enough force to activate SRS. Activation of air bag system can occur in either a frontal or side impact collision.
SRS components include a driver-side air bag module, passenger-side air bag module, contact reel (clock spring). SRS control module, AIR BAG warning light (SRS warning light), driver and front passenger side impact air bag modules, or Side Impact Protection System (SIPS), side impact sensors, head air bag modules (curtain air bag modules) and seat belt pretensioners for both front and rear seat positions, knee Air-Bags modules in select cars.
We do after collision inspection, SRS, diagnostic, installation of new components, adjustment, and activation of Air-Bag system.
